Plugins in general and the autoalltalk plugin

Discuss TF2! Or don't. Whatever takes your fancy.

The other day I made a plugin that turns off alltalk when there's over 16 players, and turns it back on when it's 16 or lower players. It checks the amount of players at the beginning of every round. I call it Autoalltalk.

Yesterday I made it turn alltalk temporarily on during humiliation and made it a bit more verbose (it states the status of alltalk at the beginning of every round). Please tell me if it's "verbosness" is too much...

So, suggestions for more plugins or tweaks to the autoalltalk plugin?

Can this be turned off?

I mean, one of the hallmarks of the [FOR] server is alltalk (Along with porn sprays, winbombs, and other general insanity), and I can see it being off in general games during the day, but it completely butchers any chance of any fun cross-team events at night.

So basically if this is left on all the time...

-No more cross-team conversations (But this can be earrape sometimes. There is a mute button, though)

-No more dances (Timewarp and such)

-No more swearing at Nikky or Doom for blowing you into tiny bits with their winbombs

-No more hoedowns?

I don't think it should be on all the time, just most of the time. Can we have a vote function for this, or something? I've heard people talking about this and they generally don't like it. It does have its uses though. Sometimes.

Yeah, we can still force alltalk back on quite easily, so don't worry too much. :)

A simple console script to periodically remind people about the Forums and the Steamchat would be spiffy.

I think there was a such plugin in Sourcemod already, and that it's just disabled on our server (it otherwise advertises the plugin itself lol).

Well if I recall right, the plugin have a configuration file.

So unless you change the lines in the config, it advertises itself by default. :P

I got a plugin if you can do it, an auto-friendlyfire when "waiting for other players," just for amusement.

Edit: Another plugin that would be interesting is a scramble after being steamrolled, based on time depending how big the map is and all, calculating how the average time on winning and cutting it by 1/3 to 1/4 possibly or just going on to find out how minutes it takes people get steamrolled.

We talked about automatic scrambling amongst the admins, and to be honest I generally dislike the idea of that being automated. >>

I might do some more plugin for fun, but I'm honestly not even sure of the limitations involved.
