Hunting rifle or assault rifle might seem useful in some situations in Survival, but I learned the hard lesson already a few times that Autoshotgun is one of the more flexible weapons in L4D and the weaknesses of the other weapons just tend to backfire on you.
Also you need to pay attention to the sound cues in the game. There's no excuse in having a teammate behind you strangle as you hear a sound right away when that happens. You need to be able to pay attention in L4D, and it's even more important in survival!
On some maps, try to grab items most far away from the "holdout" spot first... if possible.

Haha, blast, just barely edged me out by a minute Very impressive. I'm wondering if it's possible to legitimately get 30 minutes on any of the maps.
