Not really, some maps are in what I would call... eternal beta. ;)

And the best way to get them out of beta is playing them, and give comments (and maybe stats if you're that generous server admin) to help them.

Edit: I'm gonna use 7zip for the compression of the mappack, since it's the most efficient general-purpose lossless compression I know about. And space is a concern with how many maps we're including this time. ;)

FYI IZarc will also uncompress 7-zip.

Sorry for the laggy experience, it wasn't until the 2nd last map I realized that I had debug mode turned on in TFP5.

...debug mode makes TF2 server runs a bit slower. ._.;

Zig
- texture issues
- lighting makes it hard to determine teams at some points
- tough choke points, no worse than egypt, but until we learn the maps better there will be a lot of defensive wins.

Meridian
- very good looking map
- fun take on the TC play using CTF instead of CP

Great Heights
- huge potential
- underwater choke point is almost impossible to over come as you cannot gain ground on a sentry while swimming.

Japan
- nothing really wrong with it other than it having very 2 dimentional play. Like most maps of this type, whoever gets middle point will win eventually.
- Quality work done on the map as far as looks, bugs, glitches.

Arena Train
- Dont need it unless you get rid of some other arena maps

Freight
- not bad, again, hate these maps because of it always ending up one team killing other for way too long. These always will get RTV'd and STT'd the whole time

Dryer
- fun map, see above

Waste
- I would love to see how this map ends up playing out with more (varieties of) people playing it.
- only ran through it a couple times, but makes it fun to be on either team, instead of always attacking or defending with payload.

Wackey races
- dont add it to rotation. It would be fun some nights with a bunch of regs and an admin request, but dont start using this as a mesuring stick of the type of maps that make it in to rotation.
