Maps which did NOT make the cut:
CTF Rock2 b1 [ http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/48924 ] ( FAIL: Too complicated )

CTF Bank Job [ http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/66393 ] ( FAIL: Clipping issues | Crashes host server and player clients )

Tonight we also tested Nynnja's custom map: CTF Cordiality. If the players of this map can be so kind as to post their constructive feedback for Nynnja in this thread, that would be keen.

* PL Cranetop Bug
Bug Summary: Onscreen colors desaturate with certain players when the 3rd phase bomb detonation occurrs.
Symptoms: All color disappears from view, potentially causing navigation and readability problems, especially with differentiating between friend or foe.
Treatment: Open your Options > Video tab and adjust a setting (in my case, I enabled Motion Blur), then Apply it. It should restore color to the game.

I'm uploading those maps to the file server and both TF2 servers in advance. Don't worry, they won't appear on the mapcycle (i'm not even adding them to the maplist.txt file) and I can remove them as easily as I added them if they suck.

If I may, I would like to request that I map I've been working on recently be included in the map test. I've just recently gotten it to what I consider a presentable state, and I'm eager to see the fruits of my labor.

The concept is a modified CTF, with a single neutral flag in the center which you must run into the enemy base to score.

The map features two symmetrical 4-tiered bases, including sewers and an upper ventilation system, providing a number of alternate paths and unique and interesting sentry positions. The bases themselves include a combination of open areas, semi-wide corridors, long hallways, and narrow passages with sharp turns, in order to provide beneficial situations for every class.

While I have not uploaded the map to FPSbanana yet since I am woefully unsure of myself, I do keep my latest version of the map on filefront.

A number of people have already seen this map, including Doom, RumRunner, and MetaDeDeDe. All of whom can vouche for the layout and generally functionality of the map and its individual parts.

From now until after the map trial (or before then, if I'm informed it doesn't get in) I will cease to update the map.
