Formal Forum Rules will go here pending my having enough time to write them, probably when I get home from work today. :)

From now on, forum members need to worship purple creatures.

Alright. I'll try to make this as fair as I can.

1. Don't be an ass. Seriously, folks, this is the number one rule. If you're here just to be a stubborn jerk and troll, expect to be swiftly booted and banned, I don't have the patience for that sort of thing and we don't need it here. Keep it civil, don't be an ass, plain and simple.

2. Respect others. If someone says something you disagree with, that is *not* a good enough reason to tear them a new one. You can be forceful with your own words, but don't outright just disrespect them. We can disagree without flaming, right? ON THAT NOTE: Given the recent drama that went on here, I do *not* want to see anyone disrespecting ANYONE here over the porn sprays issue. That's a dead issue and no longer valid. So don't let me see it.

3. No Spamming. If you come here just to promote a porn site, expect to be banned. Do not post the same thing in each and every forum. When I have to remove multiple threads 'cause you want to be a shithead, I become a very angry Witchiebunny. And you don't want to see me when I'm angry.

4. Have fun. That's what we're here for, after all.

It's more of an common courtesy thing but a rule, but please don't double-post if you have the last post of a thread. Just edit your last post to add whatever you want to say.

It's ok to double-post for "bumping" for a thread that hadn't been active for a day or so, but not for a thread where there hadn't been a new post in the last hour.

I'm sure the spam-bot posts will be deleted before anyone reads this, but have you guys tried a system similar to the 'fsbb' (form spam bot blocker) class to keep them out? It's basically a set of extra fields (hidden through CSS) which invalidate the form if they're filled in. Seems to be pretty effective at keeping bots away when combined with CAPTCHA.

We have a CAPTCHA in place already.

It's rare that we get spambotted (it used to be MUCH more common)
