Item spawns are currently bugged it seems. Every single thing that can spawn IS spawning, with 0 randomization. Think it should be fixed soon.

Yea, every game we have played so far has had full item spawn. Its the reason you see like, 3 propanes and 3 gascans in every area, as well as 2 - 3 tier 2 weapon spawns in each map as well. Makes an actual versus game insanely hard since you can literally grenade spam all the way to the end.

Maybe something they fixed quickly? I'm not sure... We didn't encounter that when we had a vs. game later, and I didn't when we played normal campagin, either.

There were TONS of second pistol spawns, but not all of htem were used. Though I'm not sure how much of that was just us exploring every nook and cranny of a new map.

Only one second weapon spawn appeared in chapter 1... There was an autoshotty and a hunting rifle. Outside of the building and a ways away, there was an assault rifle.


Quite a few molotovs, also... but we had a harder time finding pipe bombs.


...oh, and three tanks.


But when we played our vs game, the first chapter didn't even SPAWN a tank. For either of us. -_-

Just feels bloody unfair when you have a game that's 4 vs. 1, the director won't even take pity on the poor ronery infected to give me a tank...

...after they destroyed us effortlessly because we only had two survivors vs. 4 infected. ._. Near the beginning. There was one hunter lagging so horribly he teleported and was unaffected by melee. Not fun.


Still, I'll play a bit more, and see if I notice anything.

Crash Course may just be a "last hurrah" for the original survivors, but it's a fun one. I love the new lines they have in the DLC, though it's a shame Bill didn't get any.

Some of my favorites:

Francis: Hey, Mr. Positive, we just crashed! Got anything positive to say about that?
Louis: We're not gonna see a witch from now on! Who want's to bet me!!

Francis: Riverside? I hate Canada!
Louis/Zoey: Uh, we're not in Canada, we're in Pennsylvania.

Francis: Here they come! Zoey, just pretend they're all helicopter pilots!
Zoey: ZOMBIE'S Francis! HE. WAS. A. ZOMBIE!

Zoey: Pilot's license...revoked! DUN DUN DUNNNNN!

Zoey: Hmm, funny, sexy, brunette Zombie killer wanted to lead 3 helpless men to safety. Huh.

The survivors won't be appearing in L4D2, but the new gang will reference them in some way. No it won't be as obvious as say, making Ellis Francis' long-lost half-brother.

I haven't been able to play yet due to still not having a computer to play it with... But I have heard some of the new lines on youtube and such. My favorites were.

Zoey: Hey Francis, they have the latest issue of Hating Everything Magazine here.
Francis: I hate latest issues!

And

Francis: Watch out for that god damn steam pipe!
Zoey: Man I looooooove steam!
Francis: Oh yeah, I love steam too! I just hate the pipes!

And

Louis: Oh it's a BITCH apocalypse now BITCH!

Yeah, the Steam pipe is too good to not be a tongue-in-cheek joke XD.

Francis will also sometimes say "I love Steam" or "I hate Steam."
