OS X and custom maps

Usually I play TF2 on my desktop, however until my stuff gets shipped down here I'm stuck on my Mac for better or worse. Whenever I play on any server with custom maps I get an error telling me that the map is conspicuously empty from the server or downloads. Ive downloads enabled in multiplayer options and am not quite sure what to do.

`Psyolus had the exact same problem. We couldn't quite pin-point exactly what was causing it, it's possible the map server might've been down for a moment. Try deleting the map in your maps folder and trying again or at worst downloading it from tf2maps.net. One of the links in my signature has a list of all the maps we use with links to download them, need to update it though.

The domain name might not be resolving for whatever reason too, which was a common error (for awhile ago, isn't really as much of a problem nowadays).
