Hey look a thread I didn't see before!
As one of the resident spy players, I'd tel you that your enemy is much dumber than people realize in terms of dealing with spies. I use the CnD almost exclusively and have found that I can run short distances with 0 energy and people won't notice my little shimmering body half the time. It becomes rather useful for making that last little distance to somewhere that I can uncloak.
Other useful bits of information, The revolver is amazing, I hardly ever use the Ambassador after I learned just how good the little revolver is. It's a hideous looking little gun but it will drop people very fast. Shove it up the backside of your favorite razorback sniper!
