Wicked crashes

Okay, so recently after a bad trip to an irc server, my rig of love and porn became infected with a virut virus, after reformating and doing all the swag one would need to do(Including a new hd ;-;). I reinstalled tf2 and all that, but now I've run into the odd issue of certain maps simply refusing to dl via TFP 1,2,5. I get some weird screenshot overflow error and it disconnects me, it seems to load other maps just fine and I can get stuff from server 7 without a hitch. Any ideas?
