Having watched scouts whip it out the blade is just short enough that is doesn't quite touch him, same reason he doesn't brain himself with the bat when ever he takes it out. :p

Bah, there's no point to the Master Sword if I can't have the shield and pointy hat to go with it.....

I find it rather amusing someone came up with a sextoy for the scout before he got what I thought was going to be one of the first customs out there (the light sabre).
