...when you go into a 7-11 or other convenience store looking for BONK! Atomic Energy Drink (because nothing but isotopes will do).

...when someone posts a drinking game, and you do it.

...when you start up this thread (again, since search chokes on it when you try it).
Steam on Linux Native: "PENGUIN TOUCH MY GUN!" "THAT PENGUIN IS A SPY!"

When you start playing TF2 in your sleep, in first person.......

When you can get totally drunk and still pwn the enemy.......

When your friends on Steam wonder if you have time for a job or sleep when they see how many hours you have put it.....

When you call all sandwiches sandviches IRL.....

...When you follow your co-workers around the office, repeatedly declaring that they are spies and attempting to hit them with manilla folders over and over and over.

...When you start experimenting to see if you can get metal by mashing two sandwiches together. Or, jars of your own piss.

...When friends who know you only know how to relate things to you in TF2 memes and parlance.

...When you turn on another FPS and feel disoriented at the different control sensitivity (fo srs...try Bioshock after seven hours of TF2--or vice-versa--and you will understand).

...When you hear a funny and/or awesome line in a movie or Youtube clip and one of the first thoughts you have is 'I have GOT to record that for HLSS!'

...If you have any medal higher than Weekend Warrior.

...If you went into a murderous rage upon learning about the Soldier Medal giveaway after the fact.

...When you correctly recognize Steam instability as the precursor to a new TF2 update.

...If you remember the terror of the Civvy Heavy (also known as the Special-Needs Heavy Weapons Guy).

...If you remember the hilarity of the Blutsauger-wielding Spy.

...If you remember when Pyros were briefly The Most Overpowered Class Ever.

...If you remember when the Demoman was The Most Overpowered Class Ever.

...If you remember when the Scout's Sandman was the most awesome thing in his arsenal.

...If you remember when XBox TF2 was on par with PC TF2.

...If explosions in other games nonetheless prompt you to shout 'Ka-BEWWWWM!'

...When you actually memorize the exact timing, cadence, and pitch to the sound of the Heavy's nomming. And use it, while eating.

...When you get any kiriban achievement (Pyromancer, Chief of Staff, et al).

...If as of now, at least half the space in your items suitcase is dedicated to unlocks, hats and event items that you will not craft.

...When you remember pre-Medic update TF2 with a rich fondness of the Good Old Days.

...When you get into strategy lectures or debates on the nature of class balance that last longer than three minutes.

...If you still have glitched-level items from early update drops (level 99 Sandvich, anyone?).

...If hearing the theme music of any James Bond or Mission Impossible show or movie gets you in the mood for more TF2.

...When you cosplay at Otakon or any other convention as a TF2 class character.

...When instead of going to bed, you sit on a TF2 community forum at Buttcleft a.m. to fill out examples of signs that someone plays too much TF2.

When doing shopping errands, you look out for potentional backstab targets.

You didn't get an halo.

You send e-mails to Robin Walker.

You have more than 30 hats in total.

You played the game before they added ctf_well!

You know the order the maps was released in...

You know the order when the updates was released, and the dates!

When your parents have a heart attack at the sheer amount of hours spent as a Sniper alone.

When you make your own can of BONK!

When you randomly decide to posses a blue suitcase because it bears a passing resemblance to the BLU Intelligence.

When you have the TF2 themes on your iPod, including the Meet the Sniper theme.

When, during playing of the latter theme, you recite "Meet the Sniper" word for word in a bad Aussie accent.

When you start using TF2 quotes in real world sporting events.

When you're reading this topic.

...when someone turns up with cake and you shout "That cake is a spy"

I think it's funny that this topic turned up now as I was out at a bar last night and noticed what I think was supposed to be a generic pirate drawing on the side of the condom dispenser in the gents' - beard, eye-patch and bandanna. My first thought was "Why have they got a demoman on the side of the condom machine?"

...When you turn on another FPS and feel disoriented at the different control sensitivity (fo srs...try Bioshock after seven hours of TF2--or vice-versa--and you will understand).

I even get this with Left 4 Dead 2
...When you get any kiriban achievement (Pyromancer, Chief of Staff, et al).

I have the terrible feeling that I may have Pyromancer and Chief of Staff.
...When you remember pre-Medic update TF2 with a rich fondness of the Good Old Days.

I actually think of the pre-scout update period as the Good Ol' Days. I don't recall hating scouts back then.
Now with added Brain Slug

The updates varied a bit in quality. My favorite update ever was the spy vs sniper one, followed by Engineer update, followed by the War update (although I have to say, the demoman unlocks aren't as useful as the soldier ones :/). Note that all those updates follows the scout one, so I disagree with TF2 being the best before the scout update (even if people seem to agree on it being the "worst" update).

...when you go offtopic in a thread to debate about something TF2 related.
