Also something important to remember for all projectile-based/non-hitscan weapons is that they inherit your velocity when you are moving. As far as I'm aware a lot of games don't bother with this behaviour, but Tribes does, and it's all the more noticeable when you're zooming around at 120+. Get used to it if you want to get the hang of hitting targets with the spinfusor, especially whilst skiing.

I have never before played a game where I can ride a motorcycle up a mountain, jump out and shoot a man in midair with an exploding disc weapon and slide down the hill super fast and return my flag. This game is fantastic.
