I put in all the infomation correct but it keeps saying that the username is incorrect i try firefox because i was told google chrome would not work and same result

Also not in the steam group because its by INVITE ONLY ....

Don't know about your first problem, however there is a thread in the tf2 section to get a invite, as far as I know the group is invite only because you cant ban people on a public group.
