I've seen folks offering hats and metal in decent quantities of both for Strange weapons. Vintage weapons aren't that rare, sadly. Most folks who have Strange weapons usually want alternate Strange weapons in return.

It's not unknown. It's true. Any weapon you uncrate from boxes 19-21 will have the "Strange" name added to it. 19 is Demo, 20 is Soldier, 21 is Heavy.

Trade off those crates to folks who DO unbox stuff, and maybe if you give them enough, you'll get a Strange Weapon offer perhaps, if you don't want to buy keys.

Although the Targe Chargin' Strange variant... if someone levels that up to Saxton's Own rank, I'll be SHOCKED.
