the crates are on a drop rate that's different than the items. that being said you're guaranteed crates every week + all the people who dont want to/cant buy keys (keys cant be traded either) trading them for rare item dupes and hats will substantially decrease their value.


the rarest action stuff i'd say is paints you cant buy (white). you can also get duels and everything but keys (and gifts i think) in random drops.

also with the crates there's a chance you'll get a regular item, a rare new gen hat or an "unusual" hat with effects like flames or ghosts and stuff.
