So, I spent some money on upgrading my server box for KF/L4D/TF2 servers, and then...my main box promptly explodes again. The motherboard is shot. It's under warranty, but the RMA time is about 3-4 WEEKS with no crossshipping. So, I'll be online, but whether or not I may not be gaming in the next few is another matter.

funny about seagate and harddrives. the one I replaced my last one with the bad sectors with is a seagate. barely a few weeks old and look at my event log this morning.

"An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\D during a paging operation." enough of those error to fill up 1 screen of the even log.

Like this?

In my case it was just a case of loose cables. But the messages are heartbreaking to see... :S
