Electronics skills?

anyone have any (real) electronics skills?

ive got one of those pipboy clocks, im planning on stripping the clock out and mounting something....fun...inside.
id LOVE to be able to mounting either something with a touchscreen, OR somehow rig a small cannablized touchscreen to an ipod inside it (so i can have the pipboy Gui on the screen, and use it to change the "radio", etc)
i have...no skills however. i can defiently just stick and ipod inside, but what fun is just a static screen?

i dont have exact measurements on interal space, or screen size just yet (prolly have to wait till after the con to get those)
