Every now and then when I listen to a song I find myself unable to help but imagine a fight scene in my head. Most often these scenes play out as what could most easily be described as final boss end of the world sort of showdowns. So out of curiosity I come to find out if anyone here finds their mind wandering at all like mine does. If so why not share the song and perhaps the basics of what you've imagined going with them.

Given my personal inclinations my particular scenes often end up being Fernin as the antagonist versus an other of my characters as the protagonist for what I could best describe as a universal showdown. A pair of self made gods fighting it out; one trying to save the universe, the other Fernin usually, trying to destroy it.
"Earth and sea cower from my screams
As I climb into the skies
Atop sins towered heaven high for me
From whence I see no reason why
I should not smite with vengeance
And hurl thieves down from paradise
For storms before were as nothing more
Than a breeze next to this night"

and such things....

Songs this little vision often applies too may not be too surprising and perhaps a bit stereo typical but it doesn't stop them from being epic; as such I say my themes for the "Final Fight' are....

Dancing Mad from Final Fantasy VI.- A song so epic it needs to be split into two part...As is fitting of it's original possessor.

One Winged Angel; because an operatic theme song can make even the most effeminate git into the universe's greatest bad ass.

Destroy All, courtesy of Static X.....I've noticed this song makes people wanna go blow shit up without exception. XD

The Art of War, Team Fortress 2. Yes you read that right...

Sleep depped woofs do silly things. @.@

Hmm I'd have to say Hrimfaxi from Ace Combat 5, seems to always play when Witchy or Nikky get into my sights

Bach's Little Fugue in G Minor.

If any of you know where this was used as a final boss song, you deserve a massive amount of cookies.

.... :V

Well, I actually have quite of few songs that sorta bring to mind a few images and "videos" I guess..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKhnmUdmz74 The pretender - Foo fighters.

Ok, i've been roleplaying on irc for about.. a year now.(?) I have a couple of characters and whenever I hear this song it seems I can picture a intro to a type of show, or something. First off, one of my older characters, Gears. ( Yes, I know. Such a creative name. :/ ) Anyway, he's one of those type of heroes that do good, but in..a bad way. Like he loves to get in fights and kill others. To get a small picture of who he is and how he acts... Picture a guy in his twenties with light black almost gray hair. He has a dark green tactical vest, dark blue jeans, and a pistol at his side. He drinks, smokes and has a slight attitude.

ANYway, whenever I hear this song a small scene plays in my head. It basically starts off with his head down, lighting a cigarette and there's blast doors that are flashing this red light. It picks up as he lifts his head. Conscript like soldiers are coming in from every direction ( "Send in your skeletons. Soon as their bones come marching in. Again" ) He looks around and watches as they form around him. Then he smiles, and loads his gun. When you hear a guitar riff that happens right after he says "-that whole defense." and it goes into a faster strum, he lifts his gun and fires.. then a whole fire fight goes on. :V

I would explain more of what happens in the little video, but i'd have to give explanations on a friend's character and a few other of mine... and I really don't feel like doing that right now. Anyway, later on in the song when he's saying "well, who are you?" there's this epic showdown between my character and his nemesis. They stare eachother down and begin to run at eachother. Well, yeah, that's basically it. At the end it just shows my character's lined up like the guys in tf2... I would add more, but it's late and i'm going to sleep.

Robert Miles - Trance Shapes (PLEASE do not watch the video! The music is the ONLY thing you should pay attention to! Make sure to NOT watch the visual parts of this) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crYHPHzfCqE

Carie Skipper - Time Goes By (Super 8 deep mix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSaXGI4vcHE again, ignore the video, only listen to the music. I cry to this song, sometimes. It speaks of epic loss, epic sacrifice... eternal struggle. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. From the point of no return, gotta be strong enough to yearn....

Lennox - Servant of Justice
I'm sorry I just broke started bubbling when I listened to this again. As the song moves on, it gives me the same feeling... the same feeling I get when I think of Obama being elected president. Hope.

Steve Forte Rio feat. JES - Blossom (Lounge Mix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h0-XOMxeV4 This one tears at my soul.

Most of the songs from Era also fit here. This one is a good example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-WnjVUBDbs

Dj Tiesto - Heroes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL0-A8U8avI I created my pride-and-joy desc (Makeshift Robot, Junkyard Goddess of the Broken) listening to this over and over again. It speaks of being broken then being remade.

Dj Tiesto - Adagio For Strings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZKWdltnFvA Arguably one of Tiesto's greatest mixes ever.

Dj Tiesto - Forever Today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnY0Snkk ... re=related Makes me imagine a constant ongoing fight. Dodge, thrust, parry, spin, hack, thrust, parry, sweep, jump, thrust, dodge, parry, leap, stab, hack, dodge!

Picotto - Komodo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn73q9l3ILw has a samuri suggestion to it, to me.

ATB - Ecstacy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVByGs573OU First don't watch the video, then watch the video.

Gouryella - Ligaya http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irpONrm1 ... re=related Skip to about 1 minute in. One of the most epic songs I know of.

Paffendorf - Be Cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl0ZRtVQ ... re=related Ignore the video. Or, actually, DONT ignore the video. It's so eheheheheheheheh. But the song (my version is slightly different) makes me rock out.

I have so much more... but it's late. So I leave you with this.

YOU WILL FEEL SO FUCKING JAZZED AND ENERGETIC! I PROMISE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjsj3NaY1Oc

I remember there being some amazing song... I think it was from one of the Halo games? I haven't played any of the Halo games so I am not sure.

I got a few songs that give me that reaction, and sometimes they are actually used when me and another 2 friends make videos of our sparring or when we use it for gymnastics in which we twist martial arts into the fray, common but fun.

Eurodancer by DJ Mangoo; this is where I got the Euro part of my name, ahaha.

Stream of Tears by Maximum Tune 2

Love to rise in the summer morning by Maximum Tune 3

Teknopatia by DJ Lhasa

Fuse by She

Submarines (Pendulum Remix) by Pendulum

That's it for now. Also, the naming with the Maximum Tune 3, I don't know the original artists who made those songs so I got lazy and put them from what game they came from.
