Win-ish. This place is so small and the post wasn't really ready to house us. But we made due. We weren't schedualed to deploy until next year but we got bumped. Now we're waiting on a clear travel order because of the valcano. Where you at Helios? Who you with?

I sware that damn Volcano is screwing everything up...
Oh I'm a civie, my entire military experience comes from games like Call of Duty
. My family has a history in the Military though. I may be related distantly to Admiral Nimitz, my Grandfather's served in Nam along with some other friends of the family, and I have a cousin who is in a PMC atm (NOT Blackwater)
Got some friends over there as well. One's in the Marines in the Afghan mountains. Also I have a friend who is technically enlisted in the Marines, but he hasn't been sent to Parris yet because of a series of unfortunate events.

Update: Barring that damn volcano fucking things over again... I will be leaving tomorrow. I'll try and play TF2 today but the Wifi at the rec center is pretty bad.

the one hint/tip i can pass on:
if your eating mre's, DONT take any with the words "country" or "captain" in its name,
i made that mistake exactly once
(no, not in teh military, i just like (some) mre's for some wierd reason)
