So its time to make the real deal. I'm going to make a topic about my World War 2 relic hunting adventures. Some times gonna post a single pic and sometime a complete gallery of the day with a nice story included , who knows what I'd be finding to make a gallery. Going to update this topic every week or 2 if its possible. Anyways to start off with the "Private Haircuts Museum of Awesome Army Things" an old secret military airbase used to depart and rearm Hawker Typhoon Fighters.
Canisters of emergency thermite if an aircraft would need to make an emergency landing in German territory the thermite could be ignited and would destroy an entire aircraft. Allies wouldn't allow aircraft to fall into German hands.
( Funny video of what thermite actually does http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdCsbZf1_Ng)
An MG 15 and MG 42 Found on Day 1 of the airbase
Another MG42 + spare barrel in case and a British Lancaster Bomber turret gun
Here and actual pic of where the gun should have been placed
Mg's after cleaning with water and putted in a thin oil coat
MG42's sight
4 Bomber crew oxygen tanks
And last but no least the belt feed mechanism of a Hispano Suiza 20mm aircraft autocanon ( used in the Hawker Typhoon fighters )
Some images of the autocanon
Here a footage is a similar Typhoon airbase and what a Hawker Typhoon could wreck for havoc

i would tottally try to convert it into both an airsoft gun AND a smartgun (from aliens), at the same time ^_^

thats the beutiful part of both of what i want to do,
the airsoft conversion would replace...well just about all the internals,
and converting it to a smartgun from aliens would do away with the entire trigger and grip assembly
edit: a friend has this to say about the lancaster gun:
Middle is an ANM2, the booster of which (flutted bit just behind the muzzle) was used on Obi Wan's ANH sabre.
