The digression into personal biases for different cards from others aside, that processor is excellent for what you need it for, Zareth. You needn't worry about it handling games well. My own is in the neighborhood of that one and, paired with my GeForce 9600GT, simply shrugs at TF2 and COD5 on native resolution and full eye candy.

Good purchase.

Okay, so!

I tried to run it today on TFP (Hoodoo) and the server was full, so I figured, great time to test this rig.

What do I find? 20 fps in spawn room as scout >.>

I'm installing drivers and reinstalling TF2, hoping that would fix things.

As well, for that CPU, would enabling multi-core hurt or heal anything? I've heard a rather mixed bag of feedback on it, but I would like to know what it does x3

Eh, it's a tad dodgy, but will GREATLY improve performance if you're using a multi-core processor.

So today on gravel pit, I was trying to play scout. I was getting still 20 fps in even small fire fights. (Like, 4 or 5), and I really don't think it should be like this >.>

On another server with only 3 people, I had almost 200 fps ._.

i dont know if its solved already.
But i got a 6,2GHZ ( 2x 3,1GHZ dual core ) processor i think thats enough...

AMD athlon64 6000+
they are not really expensive but great for overclocking i got it to 6,8ghz ( can still go up but i need better cooling then xD )

running it whit a Nvidia Geforce 9800GT ( the shaders sucks xD )
