You gotta love Fox News right-wing biased showing when they call it porn mode.

"The new InPrivate feature on Internet Explorer 8 — now in Beta release, and dubbed by many in the Web development community as “porn mode,” a nod to its most obvious use — when enabled automatically conceals sites visited by wiping clean browsing and search history, cookies, form data and passwords. It also clears the browser cache at the end of each session."
WEB DEVELOPERS came up with the name, FOX just ran with it. I mean really, would you read it if it said "privacy mode"
Also the New York Times contributed to the article, and if that's a right wing biased news source, I'm an eagle.
Gotta love how if I post something from FOX, everyone says "OMG RIGHT WING BIAS" as if there's no left wing bias anywhere >v> /rant.
Anyway, for anyone that believes the lies of the far-left nuts, here's ANOTHER article that says the same thing: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nf/20080827/tc_nf/61574
Yahoo must be biased to the right :O

Helios, It's Fox news. You can't post a link to them and expect everyone to take them seriously. They are the most well known idiots in the news industry. The Yahoo one would have been a better choice for the first post for that reason.

I find it very believable that Microsoft is doing this in an attempt to foil Google (as mentioned in both articles). They've already attempted to purchase Yahoo to help out their own search engine, and since they still have a majority of market share (on browsers), so much the better for Microsoft if they can start dwindling down Google's advertising profits. You could already clear all of this private data in previous versions of Internet Explorer which makes me think this new mode is just trying to disrupt Google's analytics on casual users behind the casual user's back. Who's still using IE anyway?
