Possible Episode Three leaked level

Claims to be a leaked alpha version of a map for Half Life 2 Episode Three.

Now there is NOTHING to CONCLUSIVELY PROVE that this is real or fake, so you make the call.

My thoughts: If it's fake, kudos to the map maker. If it's real, we're in for one hell of a game

It could just be a huge custom portal level. Notice how he's always at 100 health.

As I recall, the Half life 2 HUD can appear in Portal and all the HL2 weapons are usable in Portal. >_>

I seen this well-done fakery done before so... I reserve my judgement.

Edit: Definatly sure its' fake. Note how the guy replenishes his hp to 100 a second after being hit by a sentry gun. That's Portal engine behavior...

ailure, most likely (if it's real) Valve are trying to integrate Portal with HL2, and if it's an alpha, then of course there will be things like the health issue, also the guy in the video says he used cheats. If this is a fake, it's a very good fake

Here's my basic grounds for it being real or fake

Fake:
Alot of materials from Portal are re-used
The Source engine build seems to switch at times from Half Life to Portal (1 scene has the player taking typical damage a la Half Life, while another has regenerative health)

Real:
The Boss Battle
Map design as a whole looks very authentic.

It would honestly not surprise me if this is an actual leaked map. Valve has a tendency of letting things get out under their noses. We all remember how the HL2 Source code was leaked in 2003. A particle benchmark last year contained specific plot details pertaining to Episode Two. After the Medic achievements were released, they forgot about the console command. And recently they accidentally confirmed Portal 2. Of course we all know that they also accidentaly confirmed a Sandwich as the new Melee weapon for the Heavy.

As I explained in my YT blog post, the sound clips could also be placeholders, which again supports the notion that nothing here can prove if this is real or fake.
