Doom the hyena sucks.
Also let's play Doom (Spefically Doom ][). Doom the hyena recommended http://skulltag.com/ for multiplayer. And if you don't have Doom II, http://freedoom.sourceforge.net/ seems to work good enough for wad replacement. I warn you though, it might look a little odd in skulltag but it works.

And if you just want to play plain old Doom in a quick and efficient way, get http://zdoom.org.
