See, I was under the impression that both the US and the EU have to use their respective clients, similar to how Blacklight Retribution uses a separate client after you launch the game. I'd think you can still download and run it through steam, but after clicking launch game, it will take both EU and US players to their respective launching programs.

Except for the fact DC Universe Online is run by the same terms. Any european player upon downloading the whole of DCUO will be told they can't use the SOE client, and when they get the ProSiebenSat.1 client, it downloads the whole game all over again elsewhere out of Steam.

Thats a pretty backwards way of doing things. Guess you will just have to connect it to steam via non steam games. At least you get to play with US players though.
