I actually love locking myself out at times, it makes me want to play the game so I can have a gun that I actually made, rather than having it on the spot, I'm gonna go and screenshot the ones I made, you'll be the judge.

Also, it's true what you said, it's good to have a gun that does it's job and does it well, but never forget Borderlands can also be a fun game, just try creating a revolver with the Madjack perk or a sniper with the Ricochet perk ("A hunter lives among the stars") and it can turn out to be fun weapons to use, even if they aren't the best in the game.

Found it yesterday. ;) It's how I got the sniper up to full-auto, for starters, using the Dahl Penetrator barrel.

And I have to say, the ZPR30 Grievous has actually given me a reason to use shotguns seriously.

Here's something: I finished the game by almost only using the Erupting Bastard (I still think this is an awesome name), the other gun I used was the Lightning Orion to take down the shields.

i just got it yesterday, an hour and a half before l4d2 was fully release (not its midnight late release) and from what i got in gameplay, gotta say i love it. sucks that i barely get a decent framerate though
