Little bit of etiquette also, for Minecraft, folks:
If you find something someone's built and you're not sure if they'd want it to be tinkered with..be polite. Don't go ruining it for them? It would really suck to build an awesome underground lair, only to return to the server two days later and someone's dug through the wrong wall to flood it with water or lava.

In other words, if anyone touch my Mercury (the biological symbol for Hermaphrodite), they're dead.
DEAD.

This thing is pretty awesome...I've started constructing my secret island fortress...though it took awhile to figure the thing out. I marked it with a giant Sek ^_^
Also. there is lava? Should I not be delving as deep as I am to avoid the ocean flooding me?

Yea...the water filling stuff up got irritating when I decided to build under the ocean lol, from that tiny island off in the corner...I marked where the ocean ended so I could dig under that, but accidentally hitting any water pockets flooded EVERYTHING, so I gave up on that. Now im building something totally different >_>.

Could someone explain just what this is? I did some non-saved digging that fairly well established that the world has both a bottom and sides, but otherwise I'm fairly lost.

I was wondering what that cheese block was...
Any other blocks that do fancy things?
