Well, I can now say that I'm ready for visitors. More or less. The first floor is done, and so is the front door. Which means you can now enter the place without having to bash it open. Please excuse the dirt; after a nasty flooding accident while laying down the carpet, I had to re-sod. I'll get that cleaned up as soon as possible. Just head over to the watchtower near the purple corner, head on downstairs, and let me know what you think so far. I was going for a sort of, "New England meets the Mediterranean in Atlantis" thing. Mind the holes in the arboretum roof.

Yay! Servers back!
I've started work on my area again, marked off by the construction tape. Ran into yet another strange thing with our server...
Someone mentioned earlier that grass isn't growing back properly, which I noticed when I had to steal actual "flowing" water from someone else and carve a path to my area for it to flow into. I then made some of this water flow into a section of the ocean, so at least that small part can be tapped for water.
However, I have now noticed that grass isn't dieing under my construction tape I set up, which blocks out the sunlight. This is yet another strange glitch it seems O_O

I've noticed that too- I laid down a bunch of earth blocks near that stone squiggle between yellow and purple, but some of them grass next to it simply never grew. Yet the grass in other areas did.
Possibly related, I noticed that while I was digging out my roof, the sand blocks didn't always fall. Which isn't that big of a deal underwater, but as they were suspended in midair it was rather unusual. But after a bit I came back and they'd all fallen down. So.

Ah, Newegg. Built my most recent computer from parts I got from them. Cost me $600, and it's the sort of thing I'm sure Dell would charge me twice that for.
