If we're going to go in the direction of Source-mods, I'd have to recommend Goldeneye:Source.

Perfect Dark Source has been dead for about more than a year or so, but I wouldn't mind bringing back dead mods, the server is about trying "different" things

I just want to say that a Minecraft: Tekkit Server would be awsome.
They are abit of a pain to set up since their are some items Tekkit adds that's just way to over the top, so you need to ban them. (Destruction Catalyst, Nukes, and the more advanced Relays and collectors are some of the most obvious ones.) But all the stuff it adds is just a blast.
