For those that don't know, Left 4 Dead 2 will feature 4 new characters.



The guy on the far left, in the suit and looking a bit like Scarface is Nick. The girl next to him is Rochelle. The big guy is Coach. And the guy on the far right, lookin like the Scoot, is Ellis.

Ellis has a typical Southern Accent, and is apparently a Mechanic, so some equate him to the Engineer. But a line apparently from him in a gameplay vid sums up my feelings about him perfectly.

"I wish I had a horse right now. I lurve horses."

Ladies and Gentlefurs, Ellis is the Anti-Francis, and I speculate that if he and Francis were to meet, the Universe would implode.

If they actually take it to the extreme, making fun of the ol Francis it might actually be amusing to see what he loves.

And they might reference the L4D1 characters in L4D2, even if not directly.

I really like these new characters actually. Especially Nick, I think he looks pretty cool in the suit and I loved what he said after Ellis's "i lurve horses" line. "Ever eaten a horse? Tasty!"
