L4D2 Preorders are a go!

You'll get a 'unique' american baseball bat, my guess is it's just a reskin of whatever the normal baseball bat will be, BUT the main thing is you get early access to the demo and it's 10% of the price at launch.

For those of you that whine about 2 being out so soon, I figure it out this way in my head.

L4D1=100+hours of enjoyment and climbing for $50
Movie==$12 for 2hours.

Movie==$6.00 an hour for entertainment
L4D1==$0.50 an hour for entertainment

That's a damned good bargain there

More importantly. If you order it with 3 other people, it cuts the price to 33.00 dollars. Thats around the price most of the boycott people were complaining and saying "We will only buy it if its like, 20 - 30 dollars!!!!!!1". So. There you have it. Buy it with 3 other people and you can get it for 30.

Is it only Steam preorders that get the bonus? I placed a preorder a while back at my local gamestop, and now am wondering if I should cancel and do steam's to get the shinies....

Gamestop has a different preorder item, I forget what it is.

You don't get the big discount though.

From what I've read, and based on the achievement "Club Dead: Use every melee weapon to kill Common Infected," I believe you can get the special preorder melee weapons that you're missing by playing in a game with somebody who has it.

I've heard this as well. You get it for yourself by playing with anyone who already has it. So eventually everyone will have the "exclusive" pre-order bat.
