Yeah, no kidding. o.o; ... who the hell ARE those people!? It's like they opened up the respawn closet and some entirely different person came out... only, they insisted on making them dress like their departed friends and referring to them by those names anyways. "My name is Shauna!" "No it's not. It's ZOEY!" :x

Also, the new "campaign" looks cool, despite only being two chapters long... ... and intended for versus play. Blegh.

Naw man, that's alternate universe Zoey. Look how pissed she is. I bet Louis has a goatee as well we just can't see it.

This morning X-Box users received a "title update" to L4D which seems to be in preparation for today's Crash Course release. Among the things updated on the xbox are rumored to include:

  • Infected HUD has been updated new white (vomit) decal behind teamates health bar
  • Infected can now see your teammates recharge attacks
  • Item spawns are now identical in versus mode only

Somebody snapped a picture of the new infected ability bar on the xbox (the red ring around the silhouette)

Identical vs's spawn? Could it be? No more sympathy director/one team getting 6 healthkits? Dear god I want this update for pc. I hope it is.

It is so....meh. The whole level seems like it was just tossed together quickly to satisfy the boycotters. Yeah there are plenty of spaces for hiding and ambushing in versus, but it's just a bunch of junk tossed around the map. Not impressed in the least.

Personally, I liked the new campaign.

It was only two chapters, but it was HARD. We were only playing on advanced, and we STILL got anally raped.

And I still have yet to play it on vs. :P

Its exactly what they wanted. A very fast, nicely done, dare I say, balanced so infected don't get dominated, map. They were working on the map before the boycott, so I have no idea what you are talking about wulf. Anyways, its fun, and the changes to items in Versus are much needed and awesome.

The item randomization is a nice effect, but there's just so much junk. They could have at least cleaned it up a bit to make it look more natural than just "truck goes here x???". Versus was more balanced, but not by that much. It was just the fact that the infected could retreat easier that kept them alive. For something they've been working on for so long, I expected so much more. Probably why I don't like it is I set the bar too high.
