I might depending on how much it is, and who out of my friends here and irl are snaggin it

I'd like to preorder it to get the 10% discount (through Steam), but I'd much rather have a physical copy to save myself several hours if I ever need to redownload the GCFs. So I'm probably gonna go hunting that Wednesday/Thursday to get a copy as early as I can and then play with each and every single one of you nonstop until I pass out (at which point I will recover and do it again)

I'm afraid I won't be getting it. After Dead Space, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, and Crysis Warhead my game fund is gonna be pretty much tanked for a long time.

Anybody who has preordered Left 4 Dead (whether through steam or retail outlets) will get early access to the game's demo (which includes the first stage or so of the first "movie" No Mercy) on Thursday, November 6th. The demo will be released to everybody on the 11th.
