Spy Cloak and backstab

Discuss TF2! Or don't. Whatever takes your fancy.

I may be paranoid, I may be tired. But this is an opinion voiced by a couple more people that were in the game on TFP1 a few nigths ago.
"Spies seem to be able to backstab right from being cloaked again."

I don't know if that is a feature update, I'd like to know and I'll shut up :D
But what I am talking about is the following: First there is a completely empty room, not even a fellow teammember. I am very certain that I am the only one in there and there is only one way in which my fat Heavy arse is blocking. I turn to leave the room and suddenly BAM. Backstabbed by a spy IN the room and he's invisible again before the killcam nabs him.

Last time I checked, a spy had to be uncloaked to be able to attack. So, is this a new feature or something?

Sounds like the alt+tab bug that happens even if you don't alt+tab.

Aka where people randomly turn invisible.

I feel your paranoia... But I think Ailure is right, I've had that alt+tab bug happen to me to many times...Specially with medics XD I see their health streams but not them O.o;;
I kissed a horse and I liked it.

No.

Although I swear I was stabbed WHILE the offending spy was cloaked yesterday, but as I'm already suspicious of the individual that did so, eh.

I've actually had a problem with cloak FAILING, lately. I stab, move to cloak and run, and..suddenly I'm not cloaked anymore, even though I have full cloak.

Sometimes I have to mash right-click twice before I actually CLOAK, aaaaand sometimes if I even just hit right-click once, I rapidly cloak and decloak.

Bah.

I have managed to repeatedly reload while cloaked by accident, though. :D

Oh, I can see the spies just fine as I plummet down to the ground, dead.
But as it goes to the killcam, he's already well and cloaked.

The thing is: Are there any instances anyone has seen where it seems the animation of the decloak is instantaneous, facilitating a sudden *blip* appearance and stabbage?

I haven't seen any instances of this specifically, but I have seen something possibly related: several times I've seen mostly cloaked / still uncloaking spies pick up the intelligence... which I thought was supposed to be fixed. Perhaps spies are also able to backstab while just starting to decloak somehow?
