All I have to say is this.

One team will always win, one will always lose; unless it's a stalemate. I don't like unbalanced teams, but the requests of balance seem so overblown that we might-as-well rename it Stale Mate 2. Also, don't join my team just because you don't like dieing. You learn from mistakes; and get better when going against those who are better than you. You'll probably go a lot further being against me than being at my side. :v

People don't want stalemates; but they also don't wanna be completely steam rolled either; which is what most people have a problem with.

But these day's its no longer Doom alone. Doom's just a catalyst. Jake's example is a good one... now just replace "Random Guy" with "Regular" and the Steamroll Train is well under way.

I've been looking for some of these examples of teams being scrambled, Witchie.

So far I only hear or see someone get an irate message saying "No" or "We'll do it if we need to" when there's a scramble request and I haven't seen ANY team scramblings for a long time.

Implimenting an RTV-like scramble mechanic seems like more and more and more of a good idea.

What people aren't usually taking into account is that alltalk is kinda... hurting spies.

I actually rather like stalemates. Or rather, a deadlock between two teams on a map. I don't like the actual "SUDDEN DEATH" bit.

When a map is in gridlock, it gives me more time to do what I love doing most, defense.
