Good stuff, Although I won't be using it right now as I don't even have the banner and I'm not in a hurry to pick it up.

Hehehe

Nice banner, BTW.

Question though: local skin change, I assume? It'd be so much better if it was "I changed mine, see?" Shame TF2 doesn't work that way.

I made my sound replacement as the soldier just screaming into the trumpet instead of that old dying bull sound. I mean, really, how does the soldier even know to play it in the first place?

Local change yes. I believe there's a way to make it a server skin so that everyone would have it without them having to dl it, but people generally rage at having to download anything from a server other than a map.

On another note, there IS a blue team specific banner stored in the game's files, but it appears to be unused in game. In the event Valve changes the game so that each team has its own banner I will update the download link to include a red and blue version of the texture.

there have been people who model hacked the Bat and the Bottle so that it uses a BLU and RED skin IIRC.

... though no-one here knows modelling, or is there?

My guess is that it has something to do with the .vmt file(material file, for those not in the know: the game references a material, and the material in turn references a texture [the image itself], and defines other various properties such as substance type [glass, concrete, metal, etc], lighting type [most often either vertex based (models) or general lighting(world geometry)] and all manner of other fun things). Though I'm not certain it may be possible to alter the .vmt to reference a different texture depending on the player's team... but I dunno.

I'll look into it.
