One thing I found a disappointment in this update is the crosshair, which now can be used by the sniper, so now there is no such thing as no scoping, and you might as well get rid of the laser dot since you already have the crosshair while zoomed in. Major disappointment to make the snipers even much more easier to use.

Well, the point with the laser dot is to discourage the snipers from constantly aiming at spots where people pass through. Bit of an anti-camp thing.

The noscope crosshair seems to be bit of an accidental oversight, but to be honest noscoped shots are fairly weak anyway.

Well, you would need to shoot at least one "zoomed" scope and one noscope to kill someone, or three noscope shots to kill the weaker classes in the game. You cannot headshot with a noscope. The damage range for noscope is 34-66 btw.

...plus nothing prevented someone marking the spot of the middle of his screen and use that for aiming.

I'm not saying that you can headshot with a noscope, I'm saying it breaks the point that you have to keep zoomed in, since the shot was hard to tell where to shoot without scoping. Also that fact it makes leading the target even more easier without even have to hold a scoped position, which probably by now Red Eye and Strider can go battle sniper like -AA- if they wanted to. =x
