Team Fortress 2 Update Released

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Yes it is true you can craft the Sun On A Stick now and Sharpened Volcano Fragment!

You will need:
Reclaimed Metal x3 + A Boston Basher = Sun-on-a-Stick

Yep, they are pretty UP weapons too, so there's no real need to spend all those resources for getting them :)

Yeah, the weapons are just not good enough to waste the metal. Sun on a stick is probably the most useless weapon in the game, but the volcano fragment could be considered an upgrade to the normal axe. I've been saving up some refined metal to make some of the set bonus hats and then these recipes come out... I think I'll pass until I make some set bonus hats that I might actually use :P

Yeah, these weapons aren't really worth the metal to make them. The Polycount stuff, I could understand using a Lvl 2 metal here or there for some of the items, but this new round of stuff... nah.

I only found use for the Volcano fragment weapon, and uh... well it's barely only useful in cp_degrootkeep. Where you probably rather want to use the rake or the battery hammer from Pyro's polycount set as you'd rather try to kill people quickly than slowly on that map.

It's funny seeing people complain about how hard it is to craft though. A weapon that isn't really useful in any way so far.
