Lowdown:
A ton of hats have new descriptions. Also, a ton of new hats.
A new bonesaw replacement! The Vita-Saw. Saves up to 20% of your ubercharge when you die, but reduces your max health by 10.
A motherfuckin' frying pan. For the Soldier and Demoman.
Ellis' Hat. Probably a Sacrifice tie-in in the making.
Duelling minigame, with associated medal(s)!
Presents that give a random person on the server a random item, or a random item to everyone on the server, when used.
Boxes and keys!

I was pleasantly surprised with the new pyro weapons. And I finally got someone to trade me the brigade helm. I am satisfied.
Who do you think you are? Bleeding Action Man?!

The 20 currency unit bonus item thing, it's just a random item right?
And I personally think the items are too expensive right now. I probably just grab a paint bucket or name tag for one of my items, but wait for a price drop. They will make the new polycount hats individually craft-able with recipes.
Of course, part of the money for the polycount items will go to the creators.
