It can't be a too gimmicky gamemode, so prophunt is out right away for that reason alone.
Of course, they might just be doing offical CTF/CP maps... which the game already supports (but only custom maps uses it).

CTF/CP is a gamemode which... imo worked in TFC, but doesn't really work as well for TF2, some maps can pull it off nicely, but most don't do so well.

Maybe it'll be a more 'serious business' approach to push/assault rotating around objective destruction (ala Redship or UT2k4's Assault mode) rather than points. I wouldn't be surprised if it was official "push/pull" payload either, where there's one bomb and each team has to try to push it into the enemy base.
Guess we'll have to wait and see!
