Post any TF2-related news here.

I will still intervene with the servers for admin stuff, but honestly... Valve scared me away from Team Fortress 2 for now. -_-

I like the fad where former idlers over at the facepunch forum labels themselves as cheaters out of self-irony, mostly to make fun out of the drama.

The day the halos were handed out, I went on a TFP server (seven, specifically), and played. There was no animosity, just casual discussion amid an offensively-focused game of 2Fort. Play continued and nobody really cared, except for mentioning things like wishing you could get hats by killing somebody of the same class who had a hat, and picking it up. Yesterday I played on seven again, a game of Convoy2 (I never even knew we had it on TFP) and I saw two halos. There was no mention, no discussion of hats. We just played. One guy tried to troll by saying something about furries, but nobody rose to the bait. We just played, he shut up.

So for what that's worth.

You can. actually. If you want to disable your achievements and get them over again using a 3rd party program. I used to do it so I could enjoy trying to get some of the lifetime ones a second time.

I can't say I'd recommend that. Third-party programs aren't allowed to begin with, and that's why the idling program was labeled cheating in the first place...

Yea, but as far as I have been able to tell, RELOCKING achievements doens't get you in trouble, at least they havn't done anything to me. People unlocking ones to get free items though get nailed.

True enough, I suppose, since the earning itself would be done in-game.

I don't trust that program anymore than I do an unlocker, I'll just go into achievement_idle :P
