Only things I have to say, and I'll keep them short, are:


-It's a M-rated game. If that isn't bad enough, our community is way beyond the M rating.

-So far, as it stands, the polls say 21 on yes, 2 on maybe/don't care and a whopping 0 for no; for having porn sprays.

-It's been this way as long as the US server's been up; why change it now?

-There is a option to turn sprays off. Seriously; it's the same reason I don't mute people with loud/annoying voices. There's a mute button. Learn to use it.

-Just because a wee-group of people have a problem doesn't make we want to revamp everything. I have non-fur friends who play here. They have sprays off. Hell, I have a non-fur friend younger than I who has sprays on. He deals with it. In short, I'm sorry if it disgusts people; but either look away or turn your fucking sprays off, no one's forcing you to look at it.

Here's my two cents, because I see this developing into far more of a shytstorm than it needs to be. My advance apologies if this is too brusque for some, but I've already had my share of crap the past week to add to this:

You don't need porn sprays to enjoy the game. No, no, don't skip, hear me out. What's the big deal behind it that makes it worth all this commotion? Don't pull the 'rights' card either, because you know full well that you are playing on a free service and anyone familiar with the operation of free services should know that the wishes of the administrators top that of the players. This can be for better or worse, leading some to accept, and some to leave the server. I've already heard a couple of rebellion and notions to continue posting their explicit porn anyway in protest. I ask you what a most charitable and wise individual has asked millions this summer, already: "WHYYY SSSO SERIOUS?!"

You're being asked to show some restraint in your sprays. Is that such a terrible thing? Is it so crucial to your enjoyment of Team Fortress 2 that you simply have to post something explicit, be it furry or non?

Personally, I am a little grousy about the ruling, for similar reasons to many of you; I voted yes on that little poll (not because I thought it would change anything--an admin's word is final if they say it is--but because it was nice feedback from at least a SEGMENT of the FOR/TFP community). But as a gamer and as a moderator of the US server, I seem to be one of the very few capable of focusing on the fact that this does not mean the end of my enjoyment of the game. When you stop to think about it, it really is a petty thing to argue about. And what does it say about us as Furries when we argue about whether or not we can throw our porn into a video game? I ask many of my fellow players to take a step back and ask them: What is this really costing me, in the light of the service and community that I already have at my disposal?

Because if you seriously can't handle not being able to post porn on a game, I'm sorry...you've got issues.

That's all. Flame and argue away if you must. I dig the great lot of you, but by no means are we all one mind about this.

I just noticed this thread, read through it... and would like to offer a few things.

I think what Taross wanted to put across is not "no porn" but "no extreme porn". Some people are confused by what the latter would mean, and have assumed it to be all porn.

I don't mind most of the porn (I barely see it as I'm usually hauling ass to the battleground after getting killed for the fifth time this round), but not the extreme stuff that gets posted on FChan's /ah/ forum.

Let's use that as a basis. If it's place is FChan's /ah/ forum, it shouldn't be a spray for TF2. (An example of this is the infamous TubGirl image).

I honestly couldn't Care either way since the only Porn sprays I use are Ajinryu's, and you can't call anything he's drawn "Extreme"
